Change the maps for ab
Hello everyone...
I play ab ALOT but one thing that really put me off is the lack of map cycle because lets face it...its been The Ancestral Lands for ages now.
So my suggestion for a change is to remove The Ancestral Lands and Kaanai Canyon, because I feel that none cares about how much faction they get for winning, they just want to play 12v12.
And I know that more players would play ab if the map cycle was keys salt and grenz only. And I feel that a change like this would only benefitt Gw
Do you agree or disegree?
there might be some misspellling...but really, who cares

"The map in which the fight takes place depends on the red/blue border line of the faction war." ~wiki......Therefore to get saltspray the line must be directly over Harvest Temple. The reason the map never changes from ancestreals is because the NEW generation of kurzicks SUCK AT THIS GAME. literally suck, not just kinda play bad, thier just aweful. removing the anstreal just means the map would stay on Grenz. Youre just gonna have to wait for the good players to max Luxon and switch back. -or- persuade Anet to make the map Saltspray 24/7

I know how the map cycle works...but grenz is alot more fun to play then ancestral lands from both sides point of view. we basicly swap sides only to unlock grenz for a few hours.
And u dont play ab too max out faction title...been r12 lux now for over 2 years and i still play ab daily.
And blame KISS for the sucky players ^^

Increase faction rewards for AB by a lot whether you win or lose and make the maps random. Problem solved.

The rewards system in AB is horrendous. I get more points for losing in JQ/FA than I do for winning in AB. The rewards system should be the same for all three formats so that people will have more of a choice in what format they want to play. Only reason people play JQ is because it gives the most points.

I agree with randomizing the maps. Getting rid of two of the maps is stupid though... I'm sure that after awhile, I would want to play ancestral lands/kaanai canyon again.

Daily Map rotation perhaps?
I enjoy AB for the 12v12 (Like someone stated above) and do it out of enjoyment, the rewards could be bumped up a bit to be put on par with JQ/FA but I personally don't play for the faction.

It's been on Grenz for how long now? Haha.
I vote for daily map rotation, although, it is called "Alliance Battles" for a reason.

That's the problem for every formats. You need people to team with and people to fight to have a match , but then you also need to believe those people don't play for factions , which is really not the case.....
But i was even wondering if people would change their behaviour if AB was rewarding 10k factions though....I would do it for sure since i can't stand farming areas over and over but I'm still sure people would stay doing those farms because it's much easier and faster than AB'ing....
The game has turned into so " easy and lazy mode " that i doubt people will change anymore

If the reward was changed to 10k faction of course I'd play a little more seriously. I don't do any of those MT/MQSC simply because SCs make me want to shoot myself.

10k faction if you win and 7.5k if you lose and I would play if I didnt have kurz and luxon already maxed. Balth faction should be increased with it so people who have both titles maxed have incentive to play. Another idea instead of upping balth faction is the choice to convert the faction you would get from a match to money instead.
